Laser attenuation

Attenuating the laser power is desired in various applications in which the laser has fixed power output. LC-Tec is currently developing a novel optical shutter model with gray-level capabilities being compatible with low-power laser operation, called FOS-LAS.

With polarized laser light properly aligned relative to the shutter, very high transmittance in the fully open state can be realized together with high open to closed state contrast ratio.
